Task - Creating a logical network

Introduction

IT systems engineers are mainly concerned with network and server infrastructures. These infrastructures can sometimes be complex and contain a large number of components.
As an example, the logical network diagram below shows our simple and small infrastructure at Rafisa Fribourg.

This diagram can be used to describe the individual parts of the network.

The primary network

The secondary network for the workshop 117

The following is installed on the main network

To ensure that all these devices function correctly and that it is possible to understand how they are connected, it is essential to create documentation. To do this, the system technician relies on a logical network diagram as described in the sketch above. This diagram visualises the most important functions of the network and their main components. This diagram also shows which TCP IP addresses have been used.

Task

Using the above information, create the logical network diagram (with Drawio1)2)) for the network described below:

Dotcom AG has an internal network (address 192.168.10.0/24). This network is connected to the Internet via a router/firewall (RTR01) at UPC Cablecom. Its internal address is 192.168.10.1.

A Wi-Fi access point (WIF01 - address 192.168.10.10) is installed in the network to enable the connection of tablets and smartphones. A NAS (NAS01 - address 192.168.10.20) is installed to enable the storage of files) and a colour laser printer (PRN01 - address 192.168.10.25) is also connected to the network.

A number of PCs and notebooks are installed on the network and automatically receive addresses from the DHCP server configured on the router/firewall. Dotcom AG is active in game development and also has a PS4 (PS401) and an Xbox (XBX01), both of which are connected to the network with an Ethernet cable. Both consoles are connected to a television (TVS01) via HDMI cables.

Please add the finished plan to your Wekan order as an attachment.
