In the RAFISA WLAN, authentication takes place according to [[intern:ipa:tp2022:ipa_tp2022|802.1X]]: Based on membership of an AD group, you are connected to the corresponding VLAN after logging in. In RAFISA-GUEST, login is via WPA2-Personal with a password. The password can be requested from the helpdesk. ===== Connecting the access points ===== The access points are connected to a VLAN trunk on which VLANs 21 (instructor), 22 (student) and 23 (guest) are tagged and VLAN 1 is untagged. The PVID of the port should be 1. VLAN 1 is used for communication between access points and the Unifi controller. :!: It is very important that Loopguard for the VLAN trunks is switched off on the switch, as otherwise errors may occur and the port may be deactivated as a result. ===== IP addresses of the access points ===== ^ Host name ^ Stock ^ Switch ^ Port ^ IP address ^ Mac address (ETH) ^ VLAN ^ Type designation ^ WiFi standard ^ Location ^ | BasementAP | Basement | 172.16.1.11 | 6 | 172.16.23.254 | 64:70:02:3c:ab:d9 | 23 | TP-Link TL-WA901ND | WiFi 4 | Server room | | ap-zh-21 | 2 - 1 | 172.16.1.2 | 21 | 172.16.1.31 | 78:45:58:63:c6:7c | 1,21,22,23 | U6-LITE | WiFi 4 / 6 | Office | | ap-zh-22 | 2 - 2 | 172.16.1.2 | 17 | 172.16.1.32 | d8:b3:70:17:e8:69 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | Gear | | ap-zh-2b | 2 - B | - | 24 | 172.16.1.33 | d8:b3:70:xx:x6:96 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | coming soon | | ap-zh-3a | 3 - A | 172.16.1.5 | 24 | 172.16.1.34 | d8:b3:70:17:bb:b1 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | Gear | | ap-zh-3ab | 3 - AB | 172.16.1.5 | 22 | 172.16.1.35 | 78:45:58:8b:d6:63 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | Kitchen | | ap-zh-3b | 3 - B | 172.16.1.7 | 24 | 172.16.1.36 | d8:b3:70:18:47:39 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | IT warehouse | | ap-zh-3c | 3 - C | 172.16.1.13 | 24 | 172.16.1.37 | 78:45:58:8b:en:c7 | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | Office | | ap-zh-4 | 4 | 172.16.1.9 | 11 | 172.16.1.38 | d8:b3:70:16:fa:dd | 1,21,22,23 | U6-PRO | WiFi 6 / 6 | Gear | Further information under: [[technische-dokumentationen:installationsanleitungen:wlan_radius_und_gastnetzwerk_installation|Installation instructions - WiFi, Radius and guest network installation]] ===== Heatmap of all floors ===== ====Software used==== The Heatmapper programme used was developed by Tobias Stähli on behalf of the IFS as part of an individual practical project (IPA) as a final project for the computer science course.
